A designated PPG noticeboard is placed in each of the Surgeries, Lichfield and Whittington. These will display information relating to the PPG. Also it will promote awareness of and access to local health services.
A Comments Box is also located in each surgery. This will enable patients to make comments about how the Practice operates in both surgeries. This box should not be used for repeat prescriptions, appointments or Home visit requests as it is for the exclusive use of the PPG not medical or clerical staff.
The PPG would like to know of any healthcare issues that patients feel it would be beneficial to have more information on through the form of a workshop.Please use the “Discussion” topics, go to “Meetings” and leave your comments. “Could you be a Buddy?”
The PPG is exploring the possibility of setting up a “Be a Buddy” scheme. Experience shows that newly diagnosed patients benefit from discussing their everyday problems with people who have a similar condition. We are aiming to promote a register of people with expertise of certain conditions and operations who can give advice on what to expect and how best to manage a condition.
